During 2020 Optimum group services continued to drive improvement across a number of their clients including VIRTUS, NTT, Telstra whilst also mobilising new sites for China mobile and VIRTUS.

The operational team focused on developing processes and staff and making sure that even during COVID 19 difficulties uptime and resilience was the focus of keeping the infrastructures operational for the clients within a number of these COLO environment's.

Across all of the accounts there were challenges with staffing levels, separation, mental health, the unknown and BAU impacts which to any vendor across the critical environments would have been challenging. OGS stepped up to the occasion and with the support from BGIS continued to drive and support their teams and clients in all of these areas.

The division has a strong drive to bring through apprentices and transferrable skills from other critical environments and now with the new structure and support from BGIS the route forward will help to develop all staff at all levels to really give the best outcomes for their clients and the data centre market.
