The 2017 DCS Awards feature 25 categories across three groups. The Project awards are open to end use implementations of Datacentre technologies and services before 31st December 2016. The Product awards are open to products and solutions that have been available, i.e. shipping in Europe, before 31st December 2016 while the Company and Special awards nominees must have been present in the EMEA market prior to 1st June 2016.
DCS Project Awards
All entries must demonstrate tangible benefits either in terms of cost savings or efficiency gains for the end-user concerned. Projects should have been implemented before 31st December 2016 in EMEA. Particular attention will be paid to examples of exemplary customer service in the delivery of the project.
What was the driving force behind the project ‐ what business or technology challenge needed to be addressed?
How did the solution address the challenges and were there any particularly innovative aspects that made it stand out?
What major challenges were faced during the project and how were they overcome?
What tangible benefits has the organisation seen as a result of the project's implementation?
Open to any project where an organisation’s implementation, consolidation, upgrade or migration to an innovative DCIM project resulting in increased productivity and or control of their data centre environment.
Open to any project where the implementation of a single or set of Private, Public or Hybrid Cloud services has significantly changed the delivery and effectiveness of IT services for the end-user organisation concerned.
DCS Product Awards
All products/solutions entered must have been shipping in EMEA before 31st December 2016.
Entry Criteria: Please answer these questions in the general description of your nomination:
What are your product's/solution's key distinguishing features and/or USP?
What tangible impact has your product/solution had on the market and your customers?
What are the major differentiators between your product/solution and those of your primary competitors?
Please supply any supportive quotes and/or case study materials to demonstrate the value of this product/solution to your customers/partners.
Open to any IT vendor or reseller/business partner delivering end-user customer service in the UK or EMEA markets. Entries must be accompanied by a minimum of THREE customer testimonials (in English) attesting to the high level of customer service delivered that sets the entrant apart from their competition.
Open to any individual working within a commercial organisation manufacturing, selling and/or supporting DC Facilities or ICT solutions in the EMEA market along with hosting and colo organisations, managed services providers and channel organisations.
Entrants must have been working in the EMEA markets prior to 1st June 2016.
